Biography
Mail House
Putting your business relationships and your employees first is key.
That’s what Chris Springfield says is the most important things he’s learned.
Owner and president of SBSC (Small Business Service Center) for nine months, he said his company has been in Maple Shade for more than 35 years.
“I was looking for a service-related business to purchase and came across my business for sale,” Springfield said. “My wife and I decided to learn more about the opportunity.”
So, what’s unique about his business?
“We offer a variety of business-related items but focus on marketing, printing, direct mail advertisements, and commercial mail preparation,” he said.
Springfield said he would recommend Maple Shade to someone looking to open a business there.
“There seems to be a strong sense of camaraderie within the business community,” he said. “We are all here to help each other succeed and you can feel that.”
While he does not hold a position on the MSBA board, Springfield noted that he agrees with its mission.
“I feel it’s important to be part of your township’s association of businesses,” he said.
A native of Cherry Hill, Springfield graduated from Widener University and has lived in Voorhees since 2005.
He said that, in his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, vacationing, and working on his 1968 Camaro.
